Does the Galaxy A35 have eSIM?
It depends on the version
The European model (SM-A356B) has eSIM; the Latin American one (SM-A356E) doesn’t.
How to check on your phone in 10 seconds
- Dial *#06# in the Phone app. If an EID number appears on screen, your phone has eSIM.
- In Settings, open About phone and check the model number: if it ends in B, it’s the European version; if it ends in E or M, the Latin American one.
What you need to know about the Galaxy A35
- Europe: yes. The European Galaxy A35 is the SM-A356B and it has eSIM.
- Latin America and Brazil: no. The model sold there is the SM-A356E, without eSIM.
- What matters is the model number, not where you are now: an A35 bought in Europe still has eSIM in Mexico, and one bought in Mexico doesn’t have it in Europe.
- Samsung’s official list says the A35 has eSIM in “Europe, North America and Korea only”.

Requirement: the phone must be unlocked
As well as having eSIM, the phone must be carrier-unlocked. If you bought it from an operator and it’s locked, it may not accept an eSIM from another company: ask them before you travel.
