Cookie policy

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones the website https://glowisim.com uses and how you can accept them, reject them or change your choice at any time.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. This policy also applies to similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which serve the same purpose.
2. Types of cookies
- By who manages them: first-party, if they are managed by Glowi, or third-party, if they are managed by another entity.
- By purpose: technical cookies, which make the website work; preference cookies, which remember options you choose, such as the language; analytics cookies, which measure how the website is used; and advertising cookies, which show or measure ads.
- By duration: session cookies, which are deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which are kept for a set period.
3. Which cookies we use

In addition, only if you accept them, we use:
- Advertising: They are only used to credit a sale to whoever sent you: if you arrive through a comparison site or affiliate link (for example, eSIMDB), your browser remembers which link you came from for 30 days, so we can pay their commission if you buy within that time. They store no personal data and are not used to show you ads or track you on other websites.
If you arrive from a comparison site or affiliate link and do not accept advertising cookies (or have not chosen yet), we store nothing on your device: the link you came from only travels in the address (URL) of the Glowi pages you open during that visit, and reaches us with your order if you buy during it. If you accept them, it is stored in the first-party cookie glowi_origen for 30 days. Until 7 October 2026 this was stored in your browser’s local storage (glowi.origen): if you had it and have accepted advertising cookies, when you come back it is moved to the cookie for the time it had left, and in any case it is deleted from local storage.
Cookie-free analytics. To know how many visits the website gets and which pages are viewed, we use Umami (umami.is), an analytics tool that sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, collects no personal data and does not track you across websites. It only shows us aggregated, anonymous data (page views, country, device type, where the visit comes from and how many visits move forward in the checkout process), hosted by Umami. That is why it does not appear in the table above or in the cookie banner.
4. When we ask for your consent
Technical cookies and the preference cookies you choose yourself are exempt from consent, because they are necessary to provide the service you request (Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, LSSI-CE). All others, such as analytics or advertising cookies, are only enabled if you accept them. You can accept them, reject them or choose by category, and rejecting them is as easy as accepting them.
5. How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change your choice whenever you like from , a link that is also in the footer of every page. We keep your choice for 13 months; after that time, or if we change the cookies we use, we will ask you again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, usually in the privacy and security section. If you block technical cookies, some parts of the website, such as checkout, may stop working.
6. Third-party cookies and transfers
If we ever use third-party cookies, we will state in the table above who manages them. Some of those third parties may be located outside the European Economic Area; in that case, the transfer is made with the safeguards described in our Privacy policy.
