How to check on your phone in 10 seconds

  1. Dial *#06# in the Phone app. If an EID number appears on screen, your phone has eSIM.
  2. In Settings, open About phone and check the model number: if it ends in B, it’s the European version; if it ends in E or M, the Latin American one.

What you need to know about the Galaxy A36

  • Europe: yes. The European Galaxy A36 is the SM-A366B and it has eSIM; it even supports two eSIMs.
  • Latin America and Brazil: no. The model sold there is the SM-A366E, without eSIM.
  • What matters is the model number, not where you are now: an A36 bought in Europe still has eSIM in Mexico, and one bought in Mexico doesn’t have it in Europe.
