About Glowi
Glowi (glowisim.com) is an online shop for travel data eSIMs: you buy data for the country you are visiting before you leave, your QR code arrives by email straight away, and you are online as soon as you land. There are plans for more than 200 destinations.
Who it is for
For anyone travelling abroad who wants mobile data from the moment they land, without paying their operator’s roaming charges or hunting for a SIM card shop at the airport. It works the same for a holiday, a business trip or a route through several countries: that is what the regional and global plans are for.
All you need is an eSIM-compatible phone that is not locked to an operator (how to check). It is a data-only eSIM: your usual SIM stays in your phone, with your number, your calls and your texts.
How it works, in three steps
Choose your destination and plan
Pick the country and how many GB you need. Pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Get it by email straight away
You receive an email with your QR code and instructions for your phone model. Nothing to post, nothing to wait for.
Switch it on when you arrive
Install it at home over Wi-Fi before you leave. When you land, turn on mobile data and you are online.
What makes us different
Prices and allowances published before you pay
For every destination you see the price of each plan, the GB and how many days it lasts. On unlimited GB plans you also see the daily allowance and the speed you get after it. All before you pay, not in the small print. Why the daily allowance matters.
No commitment
No contract, no commitment. You pay once. There is no subscription to cancel: you buy the plan you need for that trip and that is it.
Support from people
Real people, before and during your trip. You write to us by email and someone who knows the product replies, not a bot.
We tell you which network you use
Every destination shows the local operator and whether the network is 4G or 5G, before you pay. See it on a destination page.
Who is behind it
Glowi is an independent project, founded in Seville (Spain) in 2026 by Pablo Alfaya. There is no big group behind it: decisions about what we sell and how we explain it are made here.
Glowi is not a mobile operator. It sells data eSIMs that run on the networks of local operators in each destination, and takes care of choosing the plans, explaining them clearly and helping you if something goes wrong.
